What is plain bearing?

The spherical plain bearing is a plain shaft bearing. With the movement of the mechanical equipment, it can be rotated at any angle. Similar to the human elbow, hence the name. The spherical bearing consists of only one outer ring and one inner ring. Compared with spherical roller bearings, it has a large load, shock resistance, self-aligning. And most importantly, it has sealed, which greatly reduces maintenance costs.

The category of plain bearing types:

1. Radial spherical plain bearings: mainly carrying radial capacity, the contact angle is from 0 degrees to 45 degrees. Among them, GEG30ES and GE25ES-2RS are the more commonly used models.
2. Rod end bearing: One end of it is a threaded rod, which can be directly installed on the equipment, and the other end is a bearing plain. M8 rod end M4 rod ends, SA8, SL10 are the more commonly used models.
