Angular contact ball bearing
What is the different between angular contact ball bearing and groove ball bearing?
First of all, Angular contact ball bearing and deep groove ball bearing is the same, both structurally and in terms of rolling elements. However, there is a contact angle between the bearing slides and the steel ball of an angular contact bearing. Its biggest advantage is that the bearing capacity and rotational speed can be mutually adjusted according to the contact angle. The larger the contact angle, the greater the load-carrying capacity and the lower the rotational speed. The smaller the contact angle, the faster the rotational speed.
Why is angular contact bearing used in pairs?
The single row angular contact ball bearing can only bear the axial load in one direction, which will limit the movement of the rotating shaft or the outer ring in only one direction. If installed in pairs, this problem is easily solved.
Among all contact bearings, we want to focus on four-point angular contact ball bearings. Its inner ring is completely separable, and the steel ball contacts the inner ring at four points. Can bear radial load and bidirectional axial load, no-load, or pure radial load. Very high speeds can be achieved while bearing gravitational loads.
