The difference between needle bearing and cylindrical roller bearing:

In terms of product shape and structure, there is almost no difference between needle bearing and cylindrical roller bearings. When the bearing installation space of some equipment is limited, smart designers solve the problem perfectly by increasing the number of rollers and reducing the diameter of the rollers.
Over time, drawn cup needle bearings, needle rollers, cage assemblies, and needle rollers without inner ring have been gradually developed on the base of needle roller bearings to meet the application of different equipment.
Here we need to introduce the needle roller without the inner ring in particular. Because there is no inner ring, the shaft mated with the bearing directly serves as the rolling surface. Not only does not limit the movement of the shaft but also achieves very high rotational speeds. However, the hardness of the shaft is required to reach HRC60 or more. Among them, HK0810, HK1010, HK1210, HK1212, and HK1412 are very commonly used.
