How to choose the needle roller bearing?

Needle roller bearing is a type of roller bearing, very similar in structure to cylindrical roller bearing. It has thin and long rollers (roller diameter D≤5mm, L/D≥2.5, L is the length of the rollers), so the structure is very compact. When the inner size and load capacity are the same as other bearings, its outer size is the smallest, especially suitable for equipment that requires installation space.
Depending on the application, you can choose the needle roller without inner rings or cage roller bearing. This is the most special place for needle thrust bearing and cylindrical roller bearings. Of course, they can only take radial loads.

Spherical needle roller bearing– caged roller bearings:

It only consists of cages and needle rollers, without inner and outer rings, so ensure high rotational accuracy and high loads in the smallest space. The main material of the cage assembly is a GCR15 seamless steel pipe. Its working clearance can be adjusted according to the needle, mounting shaft, and housing hole. So its size is very diverse.
