Sleeve bearing
The function of sleeve bearing — fixed bearing:
The sleeve bearing is the most important component for the positioning of the tapered bore bearing on the shaft. The most commonly used are plain shaft and stepped shaft.
When the flange sleeve and the bearing are used together, the bearing can be fixed at any position and require no additional location on the shaft. The adapter sleeve bearing simplifies the installation and removal of the flange bearing. Its main partner is spherical roller bearing or self-aligning ball bearing with a tapered bore.
The bearing sleeve consists of three parts: bushing, lock nuts, and lock washers. The three parts cooperate and are not interchangeable. For example, H320 is a complete number, KM is a nut and MB is lock washers.
